Spring Cleaning

March 18th, 2007 | by mm | No Comments

I am glad we produced and posted our first newsletter finally. Promised, with your contributions small and large, we will make the next issue even more exciting. More content, less administrative announcements. Get in touch, you know how (all the links are at your fingertip).

As decided at the first business meeting in New Orleans, the LTD went to the TranslationSummit! I will report in the next LTD Newsletter issue about the highlights of the event (which is a tough challenge as it was Highlight from 8 am till 5 pm!).

Hope you did not forget to submit your proposals for the upcoming ATA conference in San Francisco. We are really looking forward to exciting Language Technology presentations in November!

Newsletter available

The division is required to produce a “traditional” newsletter. A first issue is now available. Go to Newsletter Archive on the left. Thank you Jill Sommer and Michael Metzger for putting together this issue. Volunteers are needed for future editions. How realistic is it to hope for some response with 800+ members? We will keep you posted.
